Meet Dr. Steven Mehta

Dr. Mehta grew up in Ohio, where he graduated from Kent State University and attended medical school and residency at Northeastern Ohio Medical University. Following residency, Dr. Mehta completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Louisville and did specialized training in interventional cardiology at the Arizona Heart Institute.

He is double board certified and has served in leadership capacities at many medical facilities including as Director of Cardiovascular Intervention, Chief of Medical Staff, Trustee of the Hospital Board of Directors, Chief Medical Officer and Governor of the Arizona Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Mehta has also been named one of Phoenix Magazine’s “Top Docs.”

Having spent years as an interventional cardiologist and vein doctor, Dr. Mehta saw so many patients with end-state conditions that might have been minimized or avoided with the right interventions and lifestyle changes. He started Oasis Vein and Vitality to provide this proactive, preventive care.

At his practice, Dr. Mehta leverages his medical and scientific background, as well as his extensive training in epigenetics, hormones and peptides to fully assess each patient’s health down to the cellular and vascular level. He then provides medically sound treatment plans based on an individual’s biochemistry and needs.

Outside of the office, Dr. Mehta enjoys spending time with his wife and twin daughters and their menagerie of animals. The entire family skis together and loves traveling. Dr. Mehta also sings and plays bass guitar in area bands.
