Physician-Led
Longevity Medicine
Precision diagnostics and cardiovascular prevention designed to extend your healthspan.
After years of treating advanced cardiovascular disease, Dr. Mehta shifted his focus to early detection, risk reduction, and personalized longevity optimization — helping patients prevent disease before it starts.
I was raised in a family of physicians — my father and two sisters all chose careers in medicine — where scientific inquiry and responsibility to patients were woven into daily life. From an early age, I was drawn to understanding how the human body works, not only in illness, but in its capacity for resilience, adaptation, and performance over time.
Like many children, I briefly imagined becoming an astronaut. While that early aspiration faded, the deeper fascination remained: how far human physiology can be supported to function at its highest level, and how science and intention can shape the trajectory of a life.
Music became another enduring influence. I began studying jazz at a young age, later transitioning to bass guitar and performing in bands during college. Music remains an integral part of my life today, and I continue to play and sing in local bands. The discipline of listening, improvisation, and collaboration in music mirrors the practice of medicine in ways that continue to inform how I care for patients.
Equally central to my life is my family. The time we spend together — whether through shared travel, outdoor pursuits, or simply being present for one another — has reinforced my understanding that longevity is meaningful only when it supports connection, purpose, and lived experience.
Early in my career, I had the opportunity to teach in China, an experience that profoundly broadened my perspective on health and healing. Exposure to traditional Chinese medicine introduced me to a more integrative understanding of physiology, one that considers balance, environment, and long-term functional harmony.
This experience led to a broader exploration of global medical traditions, including Ayurvedic principles, Native American and African healing perspectives, and shamanic frameworks that emphasize the interconnectedness of physical, psychological, and environmental influences on health.
While my clinical practice remains firmly grounded in evidence-based Western medicine, these experiences shaped a systems-oriented mindset — one that recognizes the value of diverse medical philosophies in understanding the full spectrum of human health.
Over time, I came to recognize a paradox. Scientific advances in medicine have been extraordinary, yet many individuals continue to experience healthcare as fragmented, reactive, and difficult to navigate.
Patients often move through a complex landscape of specialists and recommendations without a cohesive strategy. Even highly informed individuals frequently lack a trusted physician who can synthesize evolving medical knowledge into a clear, personalized understanding of risk, options, and long-term direction.
This realization became the catalyst for a different approach.
Cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of mortality in the United States. More than a single disease category, it reflects the cumulative impact of metabolic health, inflammatory processes, hormonal regulation, genetics, and lifestyle patterns over decades.
In understanding cardiovascular risk, we begin to understand the broader mechanisms of aging.
My work in vascular and metabolic medicine revealed that prevention must extend beyond episodic care. It requires a longitudinal, systems-based approach that anticipates risk, integrates emerging science, and supports functional vitality across the lifespan.
The Oasis Longevity Program emerged from this evolution.
It represents a deliberate rethinking of how advanced medical science can be applied to individual lives. Rather than focusing solely on disease treatment or wellness trends, the program provides physician-guided interpretation of medical conditions, treatment options, and emerging therapeutic strategies.
This framework allows clients to make informed, strategic decisions about their health — not in moments of crisis, but throughout the arc of their lives.
Longevity, in this model, is not accidental. It is thoughtfully and actively shaped.
At the heart of this work is a collaborative physician–client relationship grounded in trust, transparency, and shared commitment. Health optimization is not something delivered to a passive recipient; it is achieved through an ongoing partnership that evolves with time, knowledge, and personal priorities.
This model reflects a broader shift in medicine: as scientific understanding expands, the role of trusted interpretation becomes increasingly essential.
Longevity is not simply the extension of years. It is the preservation of the capacity to live them fully.

A Proactive, Preventive Approach to Aging and Disease
Dr. Steven Mehta is a board-certified cardiologist and vein disease expert specializing in precision preventive medicine aimed at not just extending your lifespan but, more importantly, extending the number of years you live in good health.
95%
of adults ages 65 and older have at least one chronic health condition
7/10
deaths in the United States are caused by chronic disease
12.7
years is the estimated gap between Americans’ overall years and good-health years
Around age 30, the mechanisms in the body that maintain homeostasis start to decline.
Imbalances may occur in your hormones, gut, blood sugar, etc. This, combined with genetics, lifestyle and environmental factors, causes dysfunction and disease.
Advanced biomarker testing can tell us how you’re currently aging and how you will in the future.
Lab work identifies markers related to aging and illness, ranging from inflammation to signs of cellular deterioration and deficiencies.
Highly personalized interventions prevent chronic disease or reverse disease processes.
Using the data, Dr. Mehta provides tailored treatments that work at the cellular level to restore balance, improve your health and slow age-related decline.
Cutting-edge solutions help you look and feel your absolute best, inside and out.
Personalized interventions are designed to improve function, reduce risk, and support long-term vitality.
